このツールについて

Deep Metadata Sanitizer is your ultimate defense against metadata leaks and hidden tracking. Simply drawing black boxes over visible text in PDF files is not enough to protect commercial secrets.

This tool scans the PDF binary structure to completely erase author info, creator software, editing logs (XMP Metadata), proprietary PieceInfo caches, and OCG optional content groups (often used for invisible watermarks).

It also rewrites the cross-reference tables (xref) completely, discarding all incremental update blocks to ensure that deleted or modified historical data cannot be restored.

よくある質問

How is this different from standard metadata removal?

Standard tools only clear basic fields like title or author. Deep Sanitizer reconstructs the entire PDF xref table, wiping PieceInfo, hidden watermarks, and historical incremental revisions.

Will this affect document layout or text?

No, it only strips hidden description streams and structure data. The visible layout, texts, and graphics remain unchanged.

Does this remove PDF passwords?

No, if a PDF is encrypted, you must unlock it first before performing a deep sanitization.
